April's Collective Beauty Spoilage | Haul

So last month I was walking by the beauty supply store on St. Michael's Row,  having a bit too much time on my hands before reaching my meeting, I decided to step inside for a bit. It was like angels had sang upon me, it was restock day! I picked up this huge jar of shea butter, which will definitely last me more than a year. Especially when I whip it up with some oils to create my moisturising shea mixture. My close friend Samieka had also been on the look out for the Cantu Shea butter deep treatment masque, and lucky for her I was able to get one before the sold out. You should have seen my fear when a voice from the aisle next to me asked where the Cantu products were. I got what I wanted and moved along swiftly, these are in high demand!

Next I ventured over to the makeup section. I was going to get some NYX lipsticks, but when I realised there were the Milani Colour Statement lipsticks available,  I picked those up instead. Look out for a review later this month. I got a milky nude and a rich plum shade. I also stumbled across the Ruby Kisses waterproof blue mascara. Finally a blue mascara! It's sadly not as pigmented as I had hoped for, but more on that later too. Ever since I was to try out the eyelid primer from Ruby Kisses, so while I was there I also picked that up. I didn't remember to take a photo but I also bought a spray bottle for my water and any liquid hair mixtures I needed to apply.

Another day, Tyrell said he'd treat me to some beauty items, so we went to iMart in Welches (same complex as Cost U Less). I discovered this beauty haven on a trip to the Payless and Cost U Less, and am I pleased! We got an assortment of makeup sponges, which I needed for the next dY during a film recording, as well as a standing magnified makeup mirror (not pictured). There was a full L'OrĂ©al section which I was able to restrain myself to one thing, the True Match setting powder since I had never tried it. The Wet n wild section was also calling my name, I got the Blue Had Me at Hell palette to try out, and sadly forgot to take a photo of it here, ah well. Finally I picked upna replacement brow kit from e.l.f. since I dropped mine and the powder smashed into a million pieces along with my heart. Let's just say I left there smiling from ear to ear with my new goodies,  thanks Tyrell!

To finish off this haul, I just have 2 more things. These were sent to me by the Born Pretty store who were kind enough to reach out to this little old Bajan blogger. It took me a while to get my items but thsts expected as they are from Hong Kong. You can use the code below to receive a 10% discount on their already affordable items, and they ship internationally too. Woot! They'll be reviews of each of these items coming shortly. The brush looks so much like the Real Techniques ones, but you can get it in 3 colours, I picked pink, hehe. Then this box of lashes contain 10 individual pairs. I've started wearing these already and I'm quite pleased!

Those were some of my spoils for April, not too bad right? I'm totally not a hoarder, haha. Look out for the reviews of the items mentioned.

Until next post...
