BornPretty Store Natural 10 pair False Eyelash | Review

Hey all! Twice in one day, weird I know, but let's get into it.
I received these eyelashes from the BornPretty Store to try out as well as this lovely brush. Straight off, I am not an avid lash wearer but I do wear them from time to time. Since I had every dramatic lashes in my stash, I figured some natural looking ones would be better suited to me. Plus that way I could get away with wearing them more often and people wouldn't be fanned by the intense lashes.

Packaging-wise, the box is pretty standard and boring, nothing to jump about. It serves its purpose.
I was quite impressed with just how natural these lashes are, and the bands are clear too, so you can get away with wearing them without eye liner. Though for me I added some because my lash glue is the dark tone.  It was easy to remove them from the box, no annoying glue to rip up the lash. These eyelashes will need trimming first as is the case with most eyelashes. However I was quite surprised by the length of the band without lashes on it. I guess it makes it easier to hold in the box though, nothing a scissors couldn't fix.

Before applying, I wigged the bands a bit to loosen them but, but I still found it quite hard to get these lashes to sit flat on my lid without a lot of prodding and poking with my tweezers. Never a fun experience. I figured the next time I wore the lashes it'd be better. I wore them for the entire day, supermarket run and errands in Barbados heat and I realised the inner corner was starting to lift up by evening. I summed that up to my lash glue.

The lashes were comfortable, I couldn't feel them for most of the time that I had them on. Also they fit behind my glasses/sunglasses well too, which is great! And they blended with my real lashes so well that even my boyfriend couldn't tell I was wearing them.

I tried re-using this same pair another time, but on cleaning them the lashes just fell apart. Maybe I was too rough? Too much lash glue or mascara? I don't know but it made me scared to reuse any more.
Wearing lashes for an upcoming look on this blog

  • Affordable
  • Great for makeup kits or lash fans, since you get 10 pairs in a box.
  • Very natural look
  • Bands are clear

  • Band is stiff
  • Wouldn't advise reusing these

The Raw Sugar

I do love how natural these lashes look and that it's a great deal, but the application part is somewhat a turn off for me. The bands are not flexible enough to begin and trying to wear them a 2nd time can be hard work if you have too much product on them.

Where to Purchase:

Although this isn't exactly a hit in my book, here's a coupon code to get you 10% off any of the items from their store, and I'm telling you, they have lots more items available!

Disclaimer: This product was provided by the BornPretty Store for review purposes. However, my opinion is in no way influenced by the aforementioned.

    1. There's lots of different styles on their site and they all look great! I have to limit myself as I'm not exactly a lash queen, so it takes me a while to get through a box.
